作品制作 詩篇１篇２-３節（パート１） ・Art piece on Psalm 1:2-3

詩篇1篇2-3節をイメージした作品を作ってみました。

I have been working on a new art piece.

 I wanted to capture the image of Psalm 1:2-3.

 I drew a sketch of an image that just popped up in my mind.

頭に浮かんだイメージを紙に描いて、

100均で買った水彩色鉛筆でなぞります。

 Then I traced it on a sheet of sanded shrink plastic with watercolor pencils 

that I bought at a 100 yen shop.

ちょっとだけ水をつけた筆で色を溶かしていきます。

 I dissolved the pigment with a wet brush and created a nice gradation. 

いい感じのグラデーションができました。

普通の色鉛筆で少し色をたして、

こんな感じになりました。

聖霊の九つの実を表わす実は、

ソフトパステルで赤く彩色しました。

I painted nine red fruits with a soft pastel 

which represented the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit.

オーブントースターで焼いて縮めます。

I shrank it in a hot oven.

出来上がり。

I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out.

聖句はまた別のプレートで作る予定です。
