プラ板の上にアルコールインクで十字架・A Cross in Alcohol Ink on Shrink Plastic

 この前、緑色をベースにしたクリスマス展示用の作品を作りました。

そしたら

赤ベースの作品も作りたくなって😆

Recently, I created a piece for a Christmas exhibition 

using green as the base color.
After finishing it, I felt inspired to create another piece

—this time with red as the base.

緑ベースの方は、ヨハネの福音書1章9節

「すべての光を照らすまことの光があって、世にきた。」

の聖句にインスパイアされて

光がバーンってなってるデザインにしたので

「赤ベースの方は何描きましょう？」

って神様のお祈りしたら

ふっと頭の中に十字架のイメージがわいてきました。

I prayed and asked God, “What should I create for the red-based piece?”
Then, all of a sudden, the image of a cross came to mind.

なるほど！💫

まことの光であるイエス様は、十字架にかかるために

地上に来られたんだから、

十字架がいいですよね

That makes sense. 💫

Jesus, the true Light, came to earth for the cross, 

so creating a cross felt just right.

ということで、十字架を描くことにしました😊

計算とかしないで、なんとなくフィーリングで描いた十字架、

後で測ったら、

ほぼほぼ　十字架の黄金比  1:1.618 でした！

私　もしかして天才？😆

I didn’t do any calculations.
I simply drew the cross by feeling.

Later, when I measured it, I discovered that 

it was almost exactly the golden ratio of a cross—1:1.618!

Maybe I’m a genius after all? 😆

とゆーわけで制作開始！

まずプラ板にヤスリをかけて、下書きの十字架の絵と重ねて

First, I sanded the shrink plastic and placed it over my cross sketch.

十字架部分にマスキングインクを塗り塗り

Next, I applied masking ink to the cross shape.

赤系のアルコールインクを重ねて

Then I layered different shades of red alcohol ink.

重ねて、

どんどん重ねて、

やっと全体に色付け終了です。　ふぅ〜💦

Finally, the coloring is complete.

ゴム製のラバークリーナーでマスキングインクを剥がすのが、

予想以上にめっちゃ大変でした〜💦

Peeling off the masking ink with a rubber cleaner was 

way harder than I expected! 💦

なんとか全部剥がしたら

ちゃんと十字架が見えるようになりました。

「ラメをどうやってプラ板に塗っていくか・・・」

Now, how should I apply the glitter to the shrink plastic…?

いろいろ試行錯誤した結果、

透明のニスにラメを混ぜるのが

一番取れにくいみたいなので

ニスとラメを混ぜては、

ちょっとずつ筆で十字架の上に乗せていきました。

Mixing varnish with glitter, I carefully brushed it onto the cross little by little.

まぜまぜ　乗せ乗せ💦

混ぜ混ぜ　乗せ乗せ💦

の作業を延々続け

ついに完成しましたー！！

It’s finally done!!

イエス様の血潮を想わせる赤のグラデーションの上に

輝く十字架

A radiant cross shining over a red gradient that evokes the blood of Jesus.

私たちの罪の身代わりとなって、

イエス様がかかってくださった十字架

その血によって、私たちは赦されたんですね

ハレルヤ💫　感謝

Jesus took the cross in our place, bearing the weight of our sins.
Through His blood, we have been forgiven.

Hallelujah. Thank You, Lord. 💫

「たとい、あなたがたの罪が緋のようであっても、雪のように白くなる。

たとい紅のように赤くても、羊の毛のようになる。」

“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red like crimson,
they shall be like wool.”
