夏前に織り始めた 涼しげな色のさをり織り・・・  I finally finished this Saori-ori project which took me about half a year. この夏のあまりの暑さにくじけ、 秋になってから再開。 かれこれ半年かけて織りあがった一枚。  I started to hand-weave it before summer. この季節に着るには ちょっと寒そうな色合いかな～ 仕立ては春までおあずけだなぁ でもただ しまっとくのも　もったいないし。。。  I don't usually wear green clothes but I made some green accessories with UV resin,  so I decided to make one to match them.  I chose fresh green and blue for the hot summer season.  However, the summer was too hot to hand weaving this year and I couldn't continue it. なに気に壁にかけてみたら あれ、タペストリー？ 色も ちょうどグリーンでクリスマスカラーだし(笑）  That's why I finished it just recently. I found a good use for it for Christmas.  プラ板で作った ポインセチアのピンバッチを アクセントに留めたら、 なんかちょっといい感じの クリスマスタペストリーになったみたい  I hanged it as a tapestry and decorated it with my handmade accessories.

昨日は 主人と 稲毛にある 花の美術館 へ Yesterday, my husband and I visited The Flower Museum in Inage 前庭では 10/8まで コスモス展をやってます。 今日の目的は、その中で開かれてる 「さをり織り」の 教室展 。 他の生徒さんたちの作品を見ると、すごくいい刺激！ 次は あれも作りたい、これも作りたい、と 頭の中だけは やる気でいっぱい（笑）  where SAORI hand-weaving exhibition was held.  Watching other students work always inspires me  and gives me new ideas for my next work. わたしも一応 自作のさをり織りのベストに 自作のコスモスのブローチを重ねつけで😊 入り口の所で、美術館のスタッフの人にほめられて すっかりいい気分😆 I wore my own hand-woven vest and my hand-made cosmos motif brooches for the occasion. 館内の「モネのサロン」 絵筆の跡が やけにリアルだったので 印刷じゃないな～と思ってたら なんと美術スタッフの人たちが わざわざパリまで行って モネの手法を再現した方法で 描いたという 「究極のレプリカ」だそう😲 The museum has the Monet room.  The replica was drawn by the art staff who actually went to Paris  and followed Monet's painting method step by step. 併設されてる温室を ひとめぐり ちっちゃいけど、滝とかもある The museum is connected to the greenhouse. 「飛行機草」って名前の植物 ...

美しい絹糸に一目惚れ♡ 傘みたいな装置でクルクル糸を紡ぎます。 グラデーションが美しい糸が３巻できました。 縦糸を整経。なんとなくアヤトリっぽいといつも思う 筬（おさ）通し。 地味に大変な作業。ハァ〜 グラデーションを生かしてゆったりと織っていきます。 何時間もの苦労の末、完成！ 初めて二色の糸を同時に使うテクに挑戦。 予想以上の出来に自画自賛♡  トルソーにかけるといい感じ。 なるべく切らずに形にしたいな というわけで、三等分して 上と下を ちょこちょこっと縫って 布を全く無駄にしないで　ロングベスト完成！ 留め方次第でいろんな表情が出せるスグレもの♡ これに合ったアクセサリー作ろっと！ The moment I saw this beautiful silk yarn, I fell in love with it. So , I decided to hand-weave it.  It took me pretty long hours to finish it,  but finally I made an about 4-meter-long  cloth.  I cut it into three equal parts. Then I sewed  them together at several places.  It was surprisingly an  easy way to make  clothes, but the result was quite impressive.  Because of its  flexible design, I can wear it in several different ways.  I'm going to make  some matching accessories for it.
