闇は光に打ち勝たなかった/The darkness has not overcome the LIGFT

ルカの福音書「種まきのたとえ」 から

Inspired by the Parable of the Sower in the Gospel of Luke (8:4–8).

昨夜のバイブル＆アートのワークショップで描きました。

　

毎月一回　クリスチャンアーティストたちが

ズームで集まって、一つの御言葉を分かち合って、

それぞれが　思いのままに自由に表現するワークショップ。

自分の心と神様の言葉に

静かに向かい合って絵を描く

そんな心癒されるひと時です。

Every month, Christian artists gather on Zoom to share selected Bible verse

 and take part in a workshop where each person expresses 

themselves freely and creatively.

今日の聖書箇所はルカの福音書8:4-8

 有名な「種まきのたとえ」

This month’s Scripture passage is Luke 8:4–8

日々の心配や思い煩いという“イバラ”に囲まれて、

実を結ぶどころか、生きることさえ難しそうな小さな芽。

そんな芽に今の自分を重ねます

A small sprout, surrounded by the “thorns” of daily worries and anxieties—

struggling not only to bear fruit, but even to survive.

I find myself reflected in it.

イバラにさえぎられて光が届かないように思える暗闇の中でも、

Even in the darkness where no light seems able to reach,

イエス様の光はその闇を突き破り、枯れそうな芽の上に降り注ぎます

Jesus, the true LIGHT, breaks through the darkness

and shines upon the withering shoot.

「光は暗闇の中で輝いている。暗闇は光に勝たなかった。」 

ヨハネによる福音書」1章5節

"The light shines in the darkness, 

and the darkness has not overcome it."

John1:5

そしてまことの光は、

その芽を生かし、育て、

やがて豊かな実を結ばせてくださる

Jesus, the true LIGHT gives it life, helps it grow,

and in time, brings forth abundant fruit.
